Overview

In PRINCE2 you will hear (or read) the term Business referred to in a variety of contexts e.g. Business Benefits, Business Interest and Business Case. Key points to note about the term Business in PRINCE2 are:

  • This role is termed a "project interest", there are two other "project interests" User and Supplier
  • The business interest is represented by the Project Executive role (representing the Customer) to ensure the project gives value for money and meets a Business need
  • PRINCE2 makes a distinction between the business requirements and the User of the final product.
