Overview

Receiving a completed Work Package is the interface between MP3 Delivering a Work Package and CS2 Assessing Progress. It confirms the acceptance and delivery of a specialist product. Checking the Work Package ensuring:

• That the recipient (usually the Customer) has accepted the product.
• Quality Log entries are complete
• Records identifying quality review sign-offs are added to the quality file
• The final products are Baselined and transferred to Configuration Management.

In addition any approvals outlined in the product's Acceptance Criteria are checked and the Configuration Item Record is updated. Responsibility for this sub process lies with the Project Manager and Team Manager who supply information to approve the Work Package and the Configuration Librarian who updates the Configuration Item Record.

Those signing-off the products must be independent from the creators.
