Overview
One success factor of a project is that it conforms to the quality expectations of the Customer. This involves the agreement of these quality expectations at the beginning of the project. It begins with planning the Project Approach to quality (following on from SU5) and refining the Customer's Acceptance Criteria.
Within this process the Configuration Management Plan is also produced to include responsibilities, procedures and a "change budget". All quality expectations and procedures should be in the Project Quality Plan.
Responsibility lies with the Project Manager and is helped by those responsible for Project Assurance.
